Hey all , our New Season of 07-08 starts now~Last Sat and Sunday was the frist weekend we have game. This year we have totally 15 teams . Every week we have 7 games on Sat and Sunday. One team will turn to off every singel weekend.

This year we have a new member to join in our Committee, Welcome Johnny Poon from GCGC.
We also need to Thanks Eugene Poon for serve us in the last year as a chairman in the committee. This year he is taking his one year off, but still he comes to help whenever time he can. Overall , not that much change in the committee. Of course, there is a little change of the position for each of us~.

We have that such a nice website , we have to thanks Victor. We have those good referees, we have to thanks Jacky chan and luke , also other Senior Referees to helping us.
This year we will have Gen. Lam to prepare the Devotion material for us. thanks

Thanks so much for all of you to join the league , i believe if without you guys we won't have the league happen this year. To the End, We have to Thanks God , if without HIM , AFC basketball league won't happen and keep it for this long.

Buy the Ticket for Banquet Yet?

Hey All, our 15th Anniversary Banquet is around the corner now. Have u guys buy the ticket yet? If not please do so. Only $33, not you just give out the money to somewhere, you just benefit to yourself , coz u will going to have dinner on that day, we have guess speaker, we have someone entertain you. Just come, u will get something back for sure.

Please keep us in your prayer, we are facing the hard time right now, For the Banquet we need you guys’ support.

What is the purpose of doing this Banquet? We want to have time with all you guys to celebrate the 15th anniversary together. All for you guys. I know some of you guys might join AFC league for so many years, so you guys contributed in the past 15 years.

Please support Basketball Ministry, Not Me and Ray own it, Is all you guys own it, You are the people who going to play in the game, we just provider.

The 15th AFC Basketball League Anniversary Banquet

To celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the League as well as to share the vision of the ministry to all the players in the League.

Banquet, Vision Sharing by AFC staff and sharing from the participants in the League. In addition, it is a mini fundraising event for the ministry.

Ray in Vancouver

This is my 50th hours in Vancouver, things are going pretty smooth and Godis so good to me.

on Jan 20, I went tobasketball league as usual cause the trip to Calgary was canceled, a young gentleman approached me and requested to have five minutes betweent thehalves for his wedding proposal. This young man was in my team back to 5years ago. I was excited and touched by the moment and this is the firsttime happened in our basketball league. Such a beautiful picture.

I think some of the people might think of why i m in Vancouver.

@ the beginning i was plan to go visit Edmontan and Calgary to promote what we have been doing in Toronto through basketball in outreaching and discipleship. Also our 1st All canadian christian Bastketball Tournament. that will happen in this summer. For some reason the trip to Edmontan and Calgary canceled.

Back to Vancouver, for the workshop I was doing in Vancouver, there were two people registered for the first day and 10 on the second day. However, turn out10 people showed up on the first day and 14 people showed up on the secondday, praise the Lord. We had a good time in sharing and discussion. I plan to come the second time.

We experienced a special night, a memorable night.

AFC Mission team was playing with PCC (Praiseland Christian Church) last night. Being part of the Mission Team, I was forced to miss the game last night as I coach PCC this season.

PCC comprises of high school and university students whom (most of them) I have spent over three years in coaching them. As for AFC Mission Team, it started officially this season, but before that, we spent over two years in preparing it. The team comprises brothers from different churches and play basketball with a mission.

I really proud of the players from PCC, for they are teachable and hard working students. I can witness their changes in their attitudes towards basketball; in other words, God is changing them, even they are not yet Christians, but they will be soon!

Throughout the game, it was tight but not rough.
Both teams had all the players participated in the game.
Both teams had the full team last night.
We are both winners! Praise the Lord!
